Aris Fioretos, born in Gothenburg in 1960, is a Swedish writer and translator of Austro-Greek origin. Since 1997 he lives as a freelance writer in Stockholm and Berlin. He regularly writes in the features section of Sweden's largest daily Dagens Nyheter and has received a number of awards. His books are translated into many languages. He translated among others Paul Auster, Vladimir Nabokov and Jan Wagner into Swedish.
